Prospective Researchers
Book a Conversation
If you are considering a doctoral programme with Brenkley Doctoral College, the best next step is a 30-minute online conversation with a member of our academic team. This is an informal, no-obligation discussion — not an interview — designed to help you understand whether a Brenkley Doctoral College programme is right for you.
In a booking conversation, we can discuss your research interests, help identify the most appropriate programme, explain the application process, and answer any questions you have about study alongside professional life.
To book a conversation, email admissions@doctoralcollege.ac.uk with the subject line "Book a Conversation". Include a brief note on your research interests and your preferred availability. We will respond within two working days with options.
Organisations
Partnership Enquiries
Brenkley Doctoral College works with organisations across the public, private, and third sectors on a range of partnership arrangements. These include employer sponsorship schemes, corporate research partnerships, consultancy projects, and institutional collaboration on doctoral development programmes.
If your organisation is looking to invest in the research capacity of senior staff, or to commission applied research on a specific organisational challenge, we would welcome a conversation.
Year 1 internship placements — two ways to get involved:
- Register an existing employee for Year 1 of the PhD (Extended Advanced Diploma), with their internship built around their role
- Bring forward a project that needs a researcher, and we will match you with a suitable Year 1 learner
Other partnership opportunities include:
- Employer doctoral sponsorship schemes (group discounts available)
- Organisational research partnerships
- Bespoke research training and methods workshops
- Consultancy and applied research projects
- Supervisor development for HEI partners
