Funding Options
Employer Sponsorship
Many Brenkley Doctoral College researchers have their fees fully or partially sponsored by their employer. We provide a standard sponsorship letter template and can meet with HR or Learning & Development teams to explain the value proposition of doctoral-level research for organisations.
Ask about our employer partnership scheme — organisations sponsoring three or more researchers receive a 10% institutional discount and access to our partner briefing events.
Professional Body Bursaries
A number of professional bodies offer bursaries or learning grants for members undertaking postgraduate or doctoral study. Eligibility varies by body and membership grade. Brenkley Doctoral College can provide documentation to support applications to professional bursary schemes.
Relevant bodies include the CMI, CIPD, AoC, RICS, and various healthcare professional councils.
Early Enrolment Discount
Applicants who enrol and pay their first-year fee in full at least 60 days before their programme start date receive a 5% early enrolment discount on their first year's fees.
This discount applies once per student and cannot be combined with other promotional discounts.
Career Development Loans
Postgraduate and professional development loans may be available through some financial providers for doctoral study costs. Brenkley Doctoral College is able to provide fee confirmation documentation for loan applications.
We recommend speaking with your bank or an independent financial adviser about the best loan options for your circumstances.
